One of the best reviewed AF in aus for a reason. Always great to train here on work trips, has loads of space, amenities, always stocked pre workouts. Very down to earth management style. You can tell they take good care of this gym and have pride in it. I've just watched one of the management do their own work out, set up a class, spot vacuum the gym and is now restocking the vending machine. Have not seen a more proactive management style anywhere else on this level. Very impressive. A definite stand out in Aus when it comes to the AF name for sure.
Fitness First Canberra is a large gym with a wide variety of equipment and facilities. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is welcoming. I would recommend this gym to anyone looking for a place to get fit and stay healthy.
Great gym, very well equipped , perfect for advanced body builders and beginners.
Great location in civic Canberra. Spacious, great big bathrooms that are great for having done naughty fun with other gym members or your bf 😏
The only thing it gets very cold in winter.
I rate it 5 stars as the best price and the most group classes among many Anytimes in Canberra. The only downside would be the bathrooms get too busy during the peak hours. It's got at least 3 classes from Mo-Thur to cater to various groups of people. Clean facilities.
By far, the best Anytime franchise in Canberra. Everything here is top notch: the staff, the cleanliness, and more importantly the culture. I rotate around multiple Anytime franchise gyms, but the City gym is like having a special birthday cake flavour of your Myprotein powder: it's undeniably amazing .... Anyways, enough of me typing here whilst I'm hogging the squat rack!
PS: Would love to see a hack squat machine! That's my only suggestion!
Anytime Fitness Canberra City is a very welcoming club. It is a gym suitable for everyone including novices and women. The have a great variety of equipment that is always well maintained, and clean bathrooms which is always a plus!! The beauty bar is a great new addition. All the trainers are so welcoming and helpful, and the classes are awesome too. Highly recommended if you want a gym that is there to support you! You're not just another number here :)
While I have visited several branches of your organisation(ACT -Dickson, Gungahlin, Tuggeronong, Jamieson & Woden.NSW: Campbeltown, Sydney CBD & Randwick ETC.) Anytime Fitness Canberra City seems to suit be the best and I like the following facilities:
1. 2 min. walk from the Tram Station
2. They have a bike stand.
3. It is 4-5 distance thus easy biking from my residence.
